Ingredients

package (7 ounces) small pasta shells

medium tomatoes, chopped (1 1/2 cups)

medium green onions, chopped (2 tablespoons)

garlic cloves, finely chopped

1/4

cup chopped fresh parsley

tablespoons olive or vegetable oil

teaspoons chopped fresh basil leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves

1/2

teaspoon salt

1/8

teaspoon coarsely cracked pepper

Preparation

Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. Rinse with cold water; drain.

Mix remaining ingredients. Toss pasta and tomato mixture. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled.
