Ingredients

tablespoons butter or margarine

tablespoons olive or vegetable oil

cloves garlic, finely chopped

teaspoon salt

teaspoon pepper

lb mushrooms, sliced (6 cups)

Chopped fresh parsley, if desired

Preparation

In 12-inch skillet, heat all ingredients except mushrooms and parsley over medium-high heat until butter is melted. Stir in mushrooms.

Cook 4 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until mushrooms are light brown. Sprinkle with parsley.
