pound bulk Italian sausage

large onion, chopped (1 cup)

1

package (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms (3 cups)

1

container (10 ounces) refrigerated Alfredo sauce

1

loaf French bread (12 inches long), cut horizontally in half

1

cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)

Preparation

Cook sausage, onion and mushrooms in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Stir in Alfredo sauce.

Place bread halves, cut sides up, on ungreased cookie sheet. Spread with sausage mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.

Set oven control to broil. Broil with tops 5 inches from heat 1 to 2 minutes or until pizzas are hot and cheese begins to brown.
