pounds beef boneless chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes

tablespoons chili powder

teaspoon salt

teaspoon ground cumin

tablespoons instant chopped onion

1/2

teaspoon garlic powder

can (15 1/2 ounces) dark red kidney beans, drained

2

cans (14 1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained

tablespoon baking cocoa

2

cinnamon sticks

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours or until beef is tender. Remove cinnamon sticks before serving.
