Ingredients

package (16 ounces) dried lima beans, sorted and rinsed

pound kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices

medium carrots, cut into 1/4-inch slices (1 cup)

medium stalks celery, cut into 1/4-inch slices (1 cup)

large onion, chopped (1 cup)

cloves garlic, finely chopped

cups water

teaspoon salt

teaspoon pepper

can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
Preparation
Mix all ingredients except tomatoes in 5- to 6-quart slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high heat setting 10 to 12 hours or until beans are tender.
Stir in tomatoes.
Cover and cook on high heat setting about 15 minutes or until hot.
