Ingredients

1/2-pound pork boneless loin, cut into cubes

cans (4 ounces each) whole green chiles, drained and cut into strips

1

jar (20 ounces) thick-and-chunky salsa

can (15 1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained

can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained

medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

1

cup chicken broth

teaspoons chili powder

3

teaspoons dried cilantro leaves, if desired

teaspoons sugar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low heat setting at least 6 to 7 hours, or until pork is tender.
