floral water tube

single flower stem (such as freesia, Alstroemeria or rose), 4 to 5 inches long

leaf savoy red kale or cabbage, 4x5 inches
12
inches (1/4- to 1/2-inch-wide) ribbon or several strands 12-inch-long raffia
Preparation
Fill water tube with water; add cap and insert flower stem.
Wrap leaf around tube. Wrap ribbon around stem end, and tie a bow.
